Summary

Growth and marketing leader for travel and marketplace companies, with 10+ years of results and three strengths rarely found together. Growth through teams: aligned ~40 people across SEO, editorial and video at Red Ventures/CNET and delivered $1.5M in incremental revenue on shopping events; ran ~$500K of travel paid media at a blended 6x ROAS; co-founded a media brand that reached ~10M monthly visitors. Travel supply depth: Google Things to Do, OTA and affiliate partners, booking systems, and direct relationships with ~600 tour operators. Hands-on AI: builds the agents, MCP server, assistants and data warehouse that let a core team of three run a 16,000-tour marketplace.

    Dec 2023 – Present

    Co-Founder & Head of Growth

    Remote, Global

    • Co-founded and led growth for a B2B2C travel marketplace: 16,000+ bookable tours from ~575 tour operators across ~3,600 destinations in 120+ countries and territories (Oct 2026). Led a team of up to ~10 (editorial, engineering, vendor ops, support) through the build; a core team of three plus AI agents now runs it.
    • Took Google Things to Do from zero to the primary distribution channel: led the 3–4 month feed integration (data quality, compliance, structured data); 1,900+ tours from 120+ operators are now approved for Google’s booking links, with an audit loop that turns each rejection report into the next fix list.
    • Replaced manual vendor operations with AI agents: onboarding cut from days to under 30 minutes, and content standardization, tagging, localization, POI assignment and tour classification automated with evaluation pipelines.
    • Made the catalog available inside AI assistants: shipped a public MCP server (listed in the official MCP Registry and Claude’s connector directory), a WhatsApp AI concierge and an on-site assistant that search live inventory, quote prices and hand off to checkout.
    • Grew organic discovery with SEO and AEO content systems built around tour and destination pages: 3,800+ tour pages earned Google Search impressions in the 90 days to Oct 2026.
    • Built the measurement stack (GA4, GTM and a BigQuery warehouse) that tracks each channel from visit to booking and guided where to invest; moved the platform to automated, low-touch operation in 2026.
  • Red Ventures / CNET Media & Commerce · Case study ↗

    Dec 2021 – Dec 2023

Sr. Growth Marketing · Audience and SEO

    San Francisco, CA

    • Drove audience and revenue growth for CNET’s Media & Commerce vertical across SEO, on-site video, YouTube and Amazon Publishing by aligning ~40 people in SEO, editorial and video, plus Product and Data, around shared priorities and KPIs.
    • Delivered $1.5M in incremental revenue across Prime Day and Black Friday by leading the data-driven deals strategy: demand research, deal lineups, early publishing and freshness updates.
    • Grew video traffic and revenue 15% with a cross-platform video strategy; wrote CNET’s video SEO playbook and ran the strategy meetings that rolled it out across verticals.
    • Ran before-and-after tests on YouTube titles, thumbnails and affiliate-link placement (link placement lifted affiliate revenue ~50% on tested videos) and on-site tests on video and affiliate widgets (+1% on-page conversion, +7% affiliate partner ROI).
    • Grew Amazon Publishing revenue 500% in 6 months by running the program’s day-to-day content and SEO.
    • Built BigQuery and Looker pipelines and dashboards that joined affiliate, traffic and ad revenue into one commerce funnel view for editorial planning.
  • China Ways LLC

    • Managed OTA and affiliate distribution with Viator, TourRadar, Travelzoo and Expedia: tracking and attribution, deal terms, and channel mix alongside paid media.
    • Ran continuous A/B tests on ad creative, landing pages and offer structure, with GA and GTM conversion tracking, to lower CPA and lift conversion rate.
